Chris Reed, founder of Hold Fast Yoga, took the first steps towards a more peaceful life with choosing to embrace a vegetarian lifestyle at age 11. It wasn’t until spring 2012 that he found the benefits of a yoga practice. Following years of looking for happiness from outside sources, yoga taught Chris to look within: to continue to peel back the layers and find more of the truth he is seeking thanks to the lessons from his beloved teachers A.J. Jones, Sharon Gannon and David Life. As one of the few Los Angeles based Jivamukti Yoga teachers Chris strives to live a more balanced life and to be a peaceful and present-minded human being. When off the mat, you can find Chris sipping cold brew coffee, eating vegan pastries and running or cycling in athletic endurance events around California.
